For our next project, our class did old age makeup. I didn't have to do it for myself because I was used for the demonstration, but I have had it done to me before and I understand the basic idea of how to put on old age makeup. The first thing you have to do before you make yourself look old is to first put on your ingénue makeup on. This will serve as your base layer so that you don't have to go back and fill in your skin color around your old age makeup. The next thing is to wrinkle up your face and look for all your natural wrinkles and creases in your face. Then go over those creases with a light color (white) for the highlights of your wrinkles. Then pick a darker color (dark brown) and put those lines above the lighter color to look like the creases. Old age makeup is not too difficult. I haven't done it myself, but I know I'll have the chance because of how much theater I do. I've also observed people do it enough that I think I could pick it up pretty quickly if I had to do it myself.
